I think it's awesome when you can hear your brothers and sisters behind you and on the sides singing to Jesus. But I like having a band too although what somtimes gets lost with that is our participation. The singing should be concentrated in the audience just as much as it is on the stage. The band is just leading us and we all follow in unison as one congregation. How about mic'ing up the auditorium? Just an idea... I loved our corporate singing with no music last Thursday.
